Years of the Great War is a strategy/RPG based around the 30 years war. The game is run through a set of forums. Each player takes the part of a monarch of the time and gets a forum to use as their court. They can then send diplomats to other courts, as well as build armies, develop commerce, and so on. It's quite ingenious, and looks like a lot of fun, if only I had time to try it out.
