Elusive Heroine of the Baroque

Farida and I saw an exhibit of Artemisia Gentelleschi's paintings in Rome. She really is an astouding artist, and much better than her father. The exhibit gave a very different version of Artemesia's story than the book about her life, but still fascinating.
